Hi.

We have two identical machines - the XYZ_Mini_Mill_560 under the Sinumerik-802D control and Simodrive-611.
One of them has the ATC (automatic tool change) problem i can not resolve .
I checked all the sensors (i believe) ; the MD32250 is set to 0.

This is not exactly a Siemens error, but is more likely to be a mechanical error.

Now you where lucky that I found an electrical diagram at XYZ homepage.

As I see it when this error happens, It is likely that the problem is one of the following.

I32.1 Magazine Left - Does not go Low

I32.2 Magazine Right - Does not go High.

or 

I33.5 Tool clamp does not go Low.

I33.6 Tool Unclamp does not go High.

If your electrical diagram have the same I/O, then please check the status of these inputs when the problem occures.

i see the 16Mb pdf called XYZ 560 Mini Mill and XYZ 710 VMC Manual 

This pdf has the section 12 Machine Wiring 

Here i see the menshioned signals I32.1 so on...

But i can't find them in my Machine. What is the "EFP Module"? Where is it? Can not see any IR34 connectors (34 pins) while the EFP Module has three of them - X402 X404 X405.

So, what is it and where is it located?

It seems i've found the EFP-Module on the page 258 of pdf. and in the elecric cabinet.

But our machine has something another...

Well, i've resolved the difference: we have two IR50 PCBs instead of three connecting Units X402 X404 X405. All the wire labels do not correspond to the wiring diagram from the PDF... 

Nevertheless i have found I32.1  I32.2.   I32.1 corresponds to X111/4    and    I32.2 corresponds to X111/5

I have checked all the signal passage from the sensors to the big plate for shure, they are good.

Now i can not find out  what I33.5 and I33.6 correspond to which X111 or X222 pin... But most probably  I33.5 corresponds to X111/16    and    I33.6 corresponds to X111/17. Upon pushing the Manual Change Toll button, the signals at X111/16 X111/17 change their state correspondinly. 

Also i have tried to interchange the big PCB at the top of EFP. No result... 

SO it seems i have checked all You have advised me. These 4 signals pass appropriately. What else can be the reason of ATC do not work??? 

So, What's it? And how can i get the wiring diagram?

Did you sort your ploblem out ?.

 NO. I'm like a fish on ice struggling to resolve the problem... 

I've checked signals passing from the sensors to the Interfase PCB of the EFP-Module - those involved in the ATC operation: 

Magazine Right sensor

Magazine Left sensor

Magazine Counter  sensor

Magazine Home  sensor

Tool Clamp Limit Switch

Tool Unlamp Limit Switch

The signals from them pass to the Interface board (to the big PCB in the last picture attached). Moreover, the system reacts onto the every sensor. Moreover, i interchanged these big PCBs - from working machine to this faulty machine (we have to machines)... No effect

What sensor else may be involved in ATC work that i do not know??? 

What parameters am i to check? 

i'm a Russian, i'm from former USSR - Ukraine...

So the electrical diagram was for a 810D (my bad)

So in your case you have a PP72/48 I/O module, not a EFP module.

But design wise of the 2 machines, I would expect them to be quite similar.

The I/O on your machine would then be as follows, as according to your pin out.

I0.1 Magazine Left 

I0.2 Magazine Right

I1.5 Tool clamp 

I1.6 Tool Unclamp 

Could you please check in the "System Menu" in the "PLC" then "PLC Status"

You will see different options to type in Values in the colum with a "Operand" on top.

Type in the above mentioned I/Os and see if the "Value" changes 0/1 when running the Tool Change.

For further investigation I would need a complete machine .ARC archive and the PLC Project if possible to see what that could cause it to stop.

Well, As i saw it earlier that the sensors work and their signals pass to the system, we've found a Start-up option "Reload User Saved Data" and done it. The ATC just has begun to operate properly...  That's all, kids... сука блядь...
