JWI88 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I'm new and hoping someone will help me with this. I have an PLC where only the error led is lid. When I connect the PLC with my PC the connectivity leds a flickering but I cannot find the PLC with TIA portal. The problem has started after loading a new PLC program. What I have tryed is to factory reset the PLC with an empty SD card without anny succes. Are there some more things to try? Thanks in advance, Jeroen

JWI88 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Dear Tomowe, I tryed the reset with an empty SD card but it looks like that the PLC is not responding on it. Only the error led is on and no other activity on the other leds. I have let it stand for about 15 minutes without any other led feedback.

mopS04 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1058)	hi, how are you connected to the PLC? directly? over Switch/Router? What TIA-Version do you use? How did you try to connect? Have a try over the online-accesses in the project-navigation have a look there for Online&Diagnostics hope this helps, regards,

JWI88 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	I can connect to other PLC's. The PLC with the error does not show in the search overview. I have tried it when the PLC connects directly to the PC and when with use of an router.

V15 How did you try to connect? --> 1. With use of TIA portal, load projectfile and go Online. 2. Searching for online devices with use of Devices & Networks and with the button accessible devices. Have a try over the online-accesses in the project-navigation -> Yes i have. Without any luck have a look there for Online&Diagnostics hope this helps, regards,

When the plc boots, the RUN, ERROR and MAINT leds blinks followed by an error led with the other 2 leds of. Input leds react on inputs. What I see is that my PC sends a broadcast on the network, but there is no communication from the PLC to find.

Try to load your project to the card and then start the CPU with the card. SIMATIC S7 S7-1200 Programmable controller maybe a FW-Update with Memory-Card helps: Firmware update hope this helps, regards,
