Good morning to everyone!

i am new in this world, I started only some weeks ago to work with logo 8 but I arrive from C++ and I am very expert with electronics!

i want connect my logo 8 with sinamics v20 for control it, but I have no idea how I can do! 

I must control the speed (with a gradual ramp), direction and start/stop of the motor with Logo 8.

some one can help me please with type of connection/protocols and with programming? I don’t want breaks something!

if someone have to suggest me some guides, it could be also fantastic!

Hi,

Chick if the SINAMIC has a 0 ...10V analoge input. If yes, then you need am AM2 AQ extension module for LOGO!.

This module has two 0...10V analog outputs you then can use to controll the speed. The digials signals to Start/Stopp, Direction you can connect to the LOGO! outputs.

If the SINAMICS V20 doesn't have a 0...10V analog input, then I know of no sollution.

according the V20 information it only supports USS and Modbus RTU. So you can't use a communication via bus to LOGO!.

But in the information it is also written a analog input is supported. This you can use together wit LOGO! with analog output expansion module LOGO! AM2 AQ.

Wiring: Connect the U1+ (of the LOGO! AM2 AQ) to the analgo input of the V20. Both M must be connected to get the same potention and configure the V20. If you have noice problems use shielded wires.

Thats it.

This can be used with all LOGO! versions since LOGO! 0BA5 (I think).

There are two other ways for a solution with Logo8.

1. Check Sinamics V20 for a Modbus TCP/IP module

2. Use a converter from Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP/IP

Be sure, you have a Logo8 with Modbus function or write down the order number of your Logo, then we can check it.

Maybe this is also not the low cost option, but you have more options to exchange values between Logo and V20.

Here is the program i use with one button only i change 3 speeds . i have and another programm with LWE for RPM counter with 0-10 Volt of inverer at I7 of logo.

Thank you very much for sharing the program. Could you please share the program with 0-10 V analog control? That will be much appreciated.
