Hi All, So I have a bit of an issue with a DMU35M which has a Siemens 810DE control on it (Simodrive 611). I am hoping maybe somebody hear might have had the same issue with a bit of luck. I am in talks/had visits from the machinery maker and the local siemens rep also, but no luck so far. The controller is: U/E Module 6SN1145-1AA01-0AA1 LT Module 6FC5447-0AA00-0AA1 CPU 810DE CCU1 V2.4 6FC5410-0AY01-0AA0 (Running Software 3.3.27) LT Module 6SN1123-1AB00-0HA2 PW Module 6SN1113-1AB01-0BA1 MMC103 Running Windows 95 (suppose to be V5.3.18 see bellow) Long story short I got the machine going pressed the jog button and it jogged into a hard stop (Z axis yeah I am stupid). It through an error, along the lines of connect to drive to sort out etc. Now at this stage I made a huge mistake and started playing around with the software without imaging the hard-drive first. Got to learn somehow I guess. Long story short I re-imaged the MMC103 hard drive (via ghost) and reloaded the NC/PLC software to the originals that came on a CD with the machine. The thought was this would clear all the errors. It did not. I can energize the e-stop circuit, then things like the coolant pump can be turned on (controlled via PLC on this machine). As soon as I energize the door lock (interlok safety circuit), I get one yellow light on the U/E module. Bus voltage is 585-590V DC. Also the CCU1 is running ok (6 on display and green lights). Moments later however the PLC trips relays to de-energize the e-stop circuit and I get a 510311 FM Emergency Stop, E/R module not ready. Also I have noted that when the MMC starts up, it says MMC100.2 V5.3.31 not MMC103 V5.3.18. Most have told me this is not an issue however. Anybody know if there is a setting in the win95 enviroment on the MMC103 to flick from MMC100.2 to MMC103 on the software? I have looked in many ini files with no success so far. I have a clone MPI cable coming is there a piece of software I can connect to the drive/PLC and have a look at the errors before I pay the really large costs to have a service guy come out. I assume the U/E module is the E/R module and I should start looking to that to be the root of the issue? I noted a service manual stated to check the over voltage module is that internal to the unit? Anybody run a repairs/exchange/fixing company? Thanks HTH for taking the time to reply. I figured there must be shared bits between NC/PLC for this sort of communication. I tried inputting that bit into the PLC viewer on the MCC103 (see attached). It equals 1 not 510311 so I will dig deeper on that. I have ordered an clone MPI cable and will get Step 7 to try and debug it all before I get the Siemens guy out again (I used it a very long time ago and have a version somewhere). Interesting though the drive service menu shows a bus voltage of 75V-85V when i measure far higher around 600V (see attached photo) so something is not correct there either. Do you know if that measurement is internal to the drive or ER module? Also do you know if the step 7 software includes software to talk to the NC, or is that a separate package?
