CAM Positioner Function in S7-1200

Adnan Shahid Baig Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Does S7-1200 has a CAM poistioner function ? I have a 360pulse encoder installed on my machine. I want to take outputs at certain degrees e.g. Q0.0 ON between 20-50degrees Q0.1 ON between 30-45degrees Q0.2 ON between 20-70degrees Is this possible ? Can I take 2 cam positioners ?

If you time response requirement are enought, you can do it in OB1 or OB200 at some scan rate (in this case, is just a case of comparation of the encode input value). You can also use interruptions and HSC Control block to set comparations values...
