Connect drive with 6SE7022-7EP60 with USB to RS232 Cable

HI,

kindly tell me drive monitor version for window XP, as i want to connect my drive with 6SE7022-7EP60 with USB to RS232 Cable.  As in my laptop i didn't have option of serial port option.  

later i installed Drive monitor version V5.5 in window 7 and try to connect but can not connect.

I check all necessary parameters and match with software , software starts searching but did not find the drive.

Please do not create multiple topics for same issue/problem.

Drive monitor 5.5 works with Windows7 (refer 11769381. this entry) Please check the parameters set, bus type - USS, interface select COM1, baud rate 9600, bus operation RS485 - automatic mode, in extended tab, set request retier value = 100 & request time = 40. Click OK, exit/close driev monitor. Once again open drive monitor by double clicking on icon & click on Set up an USS ONline connection, window willbe displayed, in this window click on START. Drive monitor will search for online drive & will display if it detects the drive. It this setting doesnot work, check your USB to RS232 converter cable etc. etc.

please check wiring on X300 and the USB2RS232 as it is not the same.

I had the same problem today.

and then the USB to Com1 converter must be used
