min0n Member Joined: 7/13/2010 Last visit: 9/29/2010 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, this is a newbie question.. I'm trying to communicate ET200S(client) with a modbus slave(Modbus Eth. TCP/IP - Simulator). Also i tried a different slave (jamod) with the same results: PLC connects ok, but "CONTROL_DAT".DONE_NDR is allways false, so i cant read/write anything. status_modbus, and status_conn are allways 0. I have read "S7 - OPEN MODBUS /TCP communication via the integrated PN interface of the PLC" documentation, and i use the official example, i configured it with modbus tcp wizard. I use the license as described in the manual. Kaulquappe Platinum Expert Joined: 11/27/2007 Last visit: 9/13/2019 Posts: 3093 Rating: (310)	Hello min0n, it is not necessary that CONN_ESTABLISHED is TRUE when starting a request. If the connection has not been established, it would be before sending the request. If you'd like to start a cyclic communication automatically, you have to set ENQ_ENR in OB100. Regards, Kaulquappe
