mounMOUMOU Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Merci by connecting a siemens RS 485 communication card, the leds of the PLC began to flash rapidly, in a panic I had cut off the power supply and removed the card. Once the PLC has been turned back on, there is no sign of life, and no LED lights up.

Either way, was the PLC powered up when the RS485 card was installed? If the PLC was powered up at the time, you need to order a new S7-1200. S7-1200 does not support hot-swapping or hot-plugging in new modules or cards. mounMOUMOU Merci by connecting a siemens RS 485 communication card, the leds of the PLC began to flash rapidly, in a panic I had cut off the power supply and removed the card. Working on a powered PLC will cause a meltdown of protective circuits. For this there is no remedy that the forum can suggest to you. The PLC is need of physical repair. Measure with a meter that the power supply is supplying 24Vdc when the power is switched on. Check that this power arrives at the terminals that power the PLC. You can disconnect all wires that are connected to inputs and outputs. Do a proper electrical fault finding before giving up hope. ~

mounMOUMOU Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Yes indeed, I had removed the card before the total extinction of the PLC. Beginner's mistake. I'm going to try to fix it myself, anyway at the point where things are, I don't risk anything more serious. I started and to my amazement I have 24v coming everywhere, although a MOSFET in the power supply circuit seemed a little weird to me (I need a good quality multimeter). At the leds that no longer light up, I have 19V, 18V in some places. I need the data cheet of PLC so that I can carry this out. On the other hand, it is at what level that I must have 5V. I will detail this with supporting photos to share, if repair will be done, with everyone. just by manipulating, the RUN/STOP LED started to light up at times, and then goes out.
