The SP 9 of STEP7 MicroWIN supports Win7 32 & 64 Bit. Goto: www.siemens.com/s7-200 then Download. Here you can download SP9. Read the notes carefully. Here you find installation intructions how to get it running with Win7 32/64 bit. Hope this helsp

Sanjay Mistry RNF(Antares):lblSharedPostList_Posts 79 RNF(Antares):lblSharedPostList_Rating (7)	No download found there & i have its setup but it shows the common problem as all are facing "searching for valid drivers" & then after a long waiting it shows unable to locate previous version files even if it is a fresh laptop. Really got frusted with Siemens Software bugs

That is not possible on a windows 7 machine, but there is a trick. Copy from a PC with previous version the Microwin. EXE file, Usually found in Programfiles/Siemens/step7 microwin/Bin. Make that directory on the new machine, put the EXE file there and run setup again. When asked browse to the directory where you put the EXE file and Setup will now continue. Regards, Marcjan

Regards, Marcjan Hello, i solved it, 1) Installed Microwin "SP 8" on windows 7 64 bit with few errors, but installation completed. PC restarted then started microwin sp8, but couldn't start. 2) Started installation of microwin SP 9 setup (Not update). asked for uninstall previuos version. i did it. & started SP 9 installation again. 3) Completed installation successfully & now i am working ok Microwin SP9 in Windows 7 64 bit

There is another way. You can copy the folder "bin" of the older version V4 and past in C:\ then execute the setup.exe of the SP9... Ok it's done ! >> After installation you can delete the folder bin. regards.
