@shish Posts: 291 Rating: (6)	Presently I am working with S7-417 5H and S7 300 safety IOs. For the commissioning purpose, I need to make these safety ouputs High. I read somewhere that forcing of safety outputs is not possible, Is it true? Can someone please suggest me how to make safety outputs high.

Dongerpure Posts: 262 Rating: (21)	Hello, I dont have much information but I can share my experience which may help you. I dont think you can force the Digital Output for Fail Safe system but you can make their inputs high from cabinet by 24volts loop and make this output high. OR you can loop 24v for output contactor.

So add memory variable in your code that "turns on" DO that you want. Than you can create force table with memory bits (for example same name as DOs) and you can change them.

I tried to force the input using Mxxx.x in OB1 by rewriting the safe input, but when safety program executes again, it rewrites the input value ! So I used the solution mentioned in above post : use a "Simu" bit to activate some functions and bypass others. I think you can do the same for safe output. In your safety program, you can use a "simu" bit to activate temporary Mxxx.x to force your safety outputs. To do that you must deactivate the safety mode. This will allow safety code to execute without the automating generated "complement safe code". Note that in this situation, the safety code is still valid, but you cannot let the installation running with "safety mode" deactivated. Regards Seb
