Hello cy429 have a look at the the three Getting Started Guides below, they should contain all the answers for AI's that you are seeking: SIMATIC S7-300 SM331; AI 8x12 Bit Getting Started part 1: 4 -20mA SIMATIC S7-300 SM331;AI 8x12 Bit Getting Started Part 2: Voltage and PT100 SIMATIC S7-300 SM331; AI 8 x 12 Bit Getting Started part 3: Thermocouples Note too the small "Info" disk icon in the top right hand corner of each page which contains the download of the example program. Analogue Outputs are simply the "reverse" of AI's and the S7-300 Automation System Module Data manual is a must have referencefor both (see especially chapter 4, 5 & 6). The "TI to S7 converting library" contains ready made scaling blocks (FC105 and FC106) andyou'll find additonal info with a search on the subject at https://support.automation.siemens.com. Im also looking for complete example,as requested. Complete means from the AI module receive the input signal ie 4-20mA, The signals then processed by AI module at PIWxx, scaled or unscaled,loaded to CPU, Transfered for PQWxx processing,sent to output module and displayed at TD200,or outputted as DzO to control on and off eqiipment. From what i read,most of the examples show only half of it,ie scaling alone,or PIW or PQW alone Without any extension to the next phase. Really realy apreciate if anybody have any example for S7 200 and 300.
