treoless Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I'm running a LOGO!8 FS04 24RCE that is tied into my HVAC to monitor the system and also control the whole house humidifier. It's been up for ~ 3 months but has locked up twice - once after running for 35 days, the other time after running for 50 days. Here's what happens when it locks up: Does not respond to any inputs The HMI screen freezes and the soft keys stop working Oddly, when I log into the web server, everything seems to be working just fine – the soft keys work; the screen shows information. However, the information displayed is incorrect because LOGO has stopped responding to any input changes I can even connect to LOGO with Soft Comfort and do online test, start/stop and etc. Using Soft Comfort to start/stop LOGO does not fix the issue. The only fix I’ve found so far is to power cycle This is very frustrating because the only way to find out whether LOGO has locked up is to press the physically soft keys. The web server gives me the false impression that LOGO is working but it has stopped responding to inputs. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a fix? Do I have a faulty unit?

The errors described by you have already criticized several users, both here in the English-speaking forum as well as in the German-speaking forum. Start a support request. Or claim the LOGO !. Meanwhile there is new LOGO! 8.FS05 with the firmware version V1.81.02 and a new TDE, also FS05, as a user in the German-speaking forum reported. Attachment SR.PNG (475 Downloads)

treoless Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Thank you very much for the information! Siemens describes the issue as "The display (onboard display, TDE and web server) is no longer refreshed." However, the web server still works when the onboard display and soft keys stop responding. The biggest issue is the inputs not being refreshed, which is not mentioned in this note. I updated the firmware this morning and will report back in a couple of months. ixo65 mphonsite We are having the same issue with multiple 230RCE units. No solution yet. treoless Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	The update was successful. Took less than 1 minute. After update, you can go to Diagnostics>Software>FW Version and you will see 1.81.03 (FS04 is 1.81.01). You can also see FS05 in SoftComfort. Don't forget to upgrade SoftComfort to 8.1.1 ixo65 Was the firmware update successful? How do you know this? Will you see a new firmware Version? Seriously there is option for us to upgrade the firmware version of the LOGO FS.04 hardware to firmware version FS.05? How to perform the firmware upgrade? The update was successful. Took less than 1 minute. After update, you can go to Diagnostics>Software>FW Version and you will see 1.81.03 (FS04 is 1.81.01). You can also see FS05 in SoftComfort.
