Hi azad_dsc, I would suggest the following: https://www.blackbox.com/en-us/store/Detail.aspx/Media-Converter-Ethernet-AUI/LE180A Use some of these convertors and get rid of thick H1 cables. WinCC can communicate over standard ethernet card also. No need for CP card in PC. For each connection in CP1430 you need to program a new connection in S7. Keep in mind that Fetch Active is not possible in S7.You can choose between send/recv, fetch passive and write passive. Maybe you should consider conversion to TIA in stead of S7-400. If you don't want to replace thick H1, tranceivers and drop lines, you can use the media converting switch that you suggested. Kind regards, |
