Peter Posts: 83 Rating: (8)	Hola, S7 side: In DB create a variable with type of STRING[xx], whereas xx is the number of character+2. for example DB100 address 50 as STRING[22] WinCC side: Create tag under your communication driver (S7/TCPIP, MPI or whatever) with data type "TEXT tag 8-bit character set" and length of 22 (the same length in S7 DB) and address DB100,DBB50 And then you can send string from S7 to WinCC. cheers, Peter

Peter Posts: 83 Rating: (8)	Hi SM, same methode... in S7 open the FB and create tag as STAT variable with datatype STRING[xxx]. Generate again the instance DB. Note the address and access it via WinCC as explained in my previous reply. For example: FB123 and DB123. STAT variable with datatype STRING[xx] at address 80. In WinCC create tag with address DB123.DBB80 with length xx. I hope you know what you are doing when accessing DB instance. Good luck, Peter

How can i fix it ? Tanks
