Hello SIOS Forum Community, The subsequent installation of software components can possibly result in unequal version levels (e.g. if updates have already been installed for the already installed TIA Portal software and the updates for the subsequently added TIA Portal software are still missing). Inconsistent versions can prevent the TIA Portal from starting. In this case, the required updates of the software must be installed subsequently. Example (for already installed software):
If WinCC Comfort/Advanced V14 SP1 is installed subsequently, this may prevent the TIA Portal from starting (due to unequal version levels). In this case, update 10 for WinCC Comfort/Advanced V14 SP1 must be installed subsequently. The updates for the TIA Portal software can be downloaded from Siemens Industry Online Support. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/ To download and install updates automatically, the Totally Integrated Automation UPDATER software can be used. This software can be installed additionally with a TIA Portal installation. Alternatively, the TIA Administrator can be used for this purpose.
