Hello dbpathak; Inside Step 7, the basic iddea is that you need to create a new block (in the Blocks directory), determine if it is an FC, an FB, a DB or an OB,. Once that is done you give the new block a name (this is the number it will be recognised with, say FC120) and the prameter it requires. Then you compile it (it then appears in the blocks list), program it and download it to the PLC. Hello. I think you will be able to find what you are looking for in the example program: Have a look in the forum for follow-up questions relating to the example. Use the search facility within the forum looking for "excel openness". Without knowing the details of the above sample and lacking Openness experience.. I would have created LAD/FBD/SCL code with a program in the XML format that Openness recognises. The XML file can then be imported as a code block. I do know with small scripts developed with OpennessScripter that the API exists that can export code blocks to XML and import XML as code blocks. |
