Dear Experts, As Per my attachment, i have created a project by using a S7-400H system (CPU 412-5H) and 3 Profibus Remote chassis, each with 2 IM153-2 HF cards and some Digital & Analog I/O. While i was working with S7-400H chassis there was no problem with the redundancy functionality at all, i mean that whenever i put either RACK0 cpu to STOP or the RACK1, the ST/BY cpu went to RUN and the previous synchronized after little while. But the moment i connected the 3 DP Slaves through their IM153-2 HF cards (I use Siemens Profibus cable and connectors) to the main chassis then i noticed a strange behavior. When RACK0 CPU is master and RACK1 ST/BY everything seems to run smoothly, no red leds or any unsual symptoms. Program is running, I/O's are exchanged normally. I put RACK0 CPU to stop mode and RACK1 became Master and RUN. The leds REDF & EXTF became red and BUSF started to flash. I then tried to put RACK0 CPU to run so as to synchronize to the other. Then I noticed that both busf leds of the RACK0 cpu started to flash and both REDF leds of the two cpus were flashed very fast. At the same time the IM153-2 HF cards which are connected to PROFIBUS Network of the RACK0 CPU (DP Port) were flashed at the same time as BOTH BUSF leds. Finally after 3-4 minutes CPU at RACK0 entered RUN mode but the rest of previous symptoms were continued. Unfortunatelly, I did not get any entry from the diagnostic buffer of both cpu's.
