Good evening fellow Siemens forum users, I am new with Siemens, my first question was answered a few days ag0, helped me quickly, thank you.... Here is the case today: (I do it in a LAD program). Let say I have a FB1, where I do some calculations. I want to reuse FB1 for 3 instances. I also have FB2, FB3 and FB4. (These will be linked to the 3 instances) Each of the FB2, FB3 and FB4 receives some individual REAL number from HMI, and each of them calculates and produces INT1 , which is a input data for FB1
The output of the FB1 is one bit M1, and a INT2. I want to send back to each of these 3 FBs 1. Shall I set FB1 with Global database? 2. As per this approach https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/15360455 Obviously for FB 2,3,4 I shall create one Instance Data blocks where I will keep the data for each of the tree calculations. I also understand In FB declaration part under STATIC I shall create instances, but I don't know how to proceed exactly. OK , I think I understand the approach, but some visual samples may help.... Can some one create and post screen shots ( if possible) of a simple case when FB1 create instances and calls FB2, 3 , 4, , receive from them one int, and and is returning to them one bit and one integer. Please let me know if you have some clarification questions Have a great weekend Lubo |
