Thanks for that, I'm still looking into using wincc in case matching IGSS up with TIA is too complicated for a college project. Thanks again |

Starting my Project and having issues with the PUT GET blocks between the 2 PLC's, I think everything is done correctly(but obviously not) i.e 1; PLC protection, connection mechanism is picked on both PLC's. 2; Data Blocks, properties, attributes, optimised block access not clicked on both. 3; IP addresses different and subnet's the same. 4; PLC Connection ID 100 and 101 respectively When I use an input to switch an output in the Data Block it shows it has changed state in the Data Block on the same PLC but it's not being transferred to the second PLC. I've went back to basics and just used a simple input, output config on the Data Blocks i.e on PUT on PLC1 ADDR_1=P#Q0.0 Byte 10 and SD_1 P#I0.0 Byte 10 and on the GET on PLC 2 ADDR_1=P#I0.0 Byte 10 and RD_1 P#Q0.0 Byte 10 with still not changing on the other PLC I'm adding screen shots of the project and I'm also using a PLC Sim to test if that makes a difference Attachmentpng2pdf.pdf (39 Downloads) |
