We are playing around with the newest features of the S7-1200 "loaded" with firmware 4. We are having difficulty to get a function on the Web Server to run. Please see the attached JPEG. We wish to add one of the Watch Tables created in TIA to the Web Server (see image). TIA allows us to do this. The problem comes in when we view the Web Server through a web browser (Firefox / IE / Crome). The user defined Watch Tables are not shown under "Variable Status" as I expect it to be. We have tried the remedy listed in [LINK] - it was not helpful. I have also read through Chapter 11.5.9 Variable Status of the S7-1200's System Manual.. also not helpful. Further searched in the System Manual has shown nothing indicating that adding watch tables to the web server is even possible. Does anyone have any suggestions to get Watch Tables included into the Web Server? Thanks for your consideration. w Attachment Visual clue_Include Watch Table to Web Server.jpg (1140 Downloads)

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 15388 Rating: (2443)	When you name the watch table before downloading your hardware configuration changes for the web server, did you give it a memorable name and perhaps write it down? If so, inspect that "tag" by name and see if the web server brings up the entire watch table from that single name.

I have now (again) tried to follow what you suggest. Sadly it does not work. Have you tried this type function in the S7-1500 yet? From what I understand a seperate "page" is made available for user watch tables. If I understood correcly these tables are stored in the MMC card (?). This makes me doubt the S7-1200's functionality of this. Any other thoughts? w

What did Siemens come back with from your support request? huggy_d1 - good to hear from you. I did not make the support request using the link here. I have asked my friend at Siemens to make the enquiry - hopefully he would also benefit with an answer. I have not yet received an answer.. It would be great if you had the opportunity to play with an S7-1500.. it would however be academical. I have already looked at documentation that shows how it looks like in an S7-1500. I have not yet found any trace of documentation that states how the S7-1200 handles this function. I have a naughty feeling that this web server function is a future development (for the S7-1200) which sneaked its way into the TIA V13 software. I would be very happy to have this function, as we could prepare Watch Tables for technicians (client or ours) to use via the web server to make their work easier. If you do have the opportunity to play with the web server functions on the S7-1500.. please drop me a line. Regards. w

I feel like you about this. I have however had no further feeback from Siemens. It is more than likely that this function can not be used yet.

Kelu Posts: 88 Rating: (12)	Hello, Is there something new about this? I actually use watch table in the webserver S7-1500. Problem is when I go in Watch table in the webserver, nothing appear. I have set the same watch table in the S7-1500 display and it appears well. I don't understand why it do that because we have an other machine near the same and watch tables appears well on it and the webserver CPU setting are the same. the only difference is the watch tables. Other thing: when I set nothing in watch table area in the hardware config, in the webserver in watch table tab, I can see "this page can't be display" which is correct I thing but when I set something it appear nothing. I have try to rebuit all, reset memory card, reload everything... but it's always the same... Thanks Best regards,

Either CamelCase or lowercase or UPPERCASE and see which ones do and do not work. I have to guess there is a space since that's the default for "Watch Table 1" rather than "Watch_Table_1". Really a guess, and nobody has suggested anything lately.
