Correct. There is no way to use the 6ES5231-5QF32-0XB0 module and the PT100 together. For Platinum RTD's (Pt100) there are five different temperature coefficients (see drop down menu). This information is provided by the RTD. The most common Pt coefficient is 0.00385055. "Level" is smoothing or additional filtering of the measurement by the module. There is usually no reason to change the default value. If you want to learn more try an internet search for "resistance temperature devices". I suggest that you download the latest version of the S7-1200 System Manual if you have not already done this. This is a large download ~ 32mb. With a Pt100 (100 ohm) RTD you will loose accuracy if you connect with only two wires. The extra resistance of the connection wires will cause errors in the measurement. To eliminate this error it is better to use a three or four wire connection. Please see the manual. Larry |

Thanks Larry !! I think that This must be the spirit of a forum. I will download the manual ASAP. I know that with only 2 wires the accuracy goes down but unfortunately it is an old application. Thanks for your patience. Mark. |
