Implementing PID algorithm with 3 process Value and One actuator!

Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello Everyone, I have to control a control valve which is analog output by using three analog inputs. 1) Moisture Transmitter 2) Feed Water Flow Transmitter 3) Material Feed Rate As per above, I have to create PID logic in STEP7. But I don't understand which alogorithm I have to implement in the logic. So please give me the solution. hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 10/26/2024 Posts: 6852 Rating: (1365)	If you have one actuator and several inputs for that, the strategy to handle the whole structure is decision of process engineers.Based on their decision, you can try one of the complex structures like selector controls (override control). In this case, several PID algorithm calculate their outputs and beside some constants , calculation all are fed to a selector (MIN/MAX) box to generate outputs.Consult them first and for implementation tips, return here .
