Communication betwen CP341 and Telesis Marking Machine(TMC 420) via RS 485

SATYA SURAVIT Posts: 94 Rating: (0)	Hi Experts , I am using CP-341(6es7 341-1CH02-0AE0) for communication between S7 and Telesis Marking Machine(TMC 420) via RS 485 interface . Communication Parameters are assigned same for both side ( Baud rate-9600, data bit-8 , Parity –None , Stop bit- 2, protocol –ASCII in PLC side and EXTENDED in controller side , Interface – RS 485) Blocks Used in S7 -(P_SEND_RK , P_RCV_RK and SFC58 and SFC 59) . I am able to send the data from PLC and got the done bit from the block , but it is unable to deliver in controller side and same time i didn't get the receive NDR after sending . Kindly suggest me as priority basis .

SATYA SURAVIT Posts: 94 Rating: (0)	Hi Kaulquappe, I have already configured in(RA -0 v and RB-5v ) in CP HW configuration . As per my document RA(pin 4) is connected to patner x-(pin 12) and RB(pin 11) is connected to partner x+(Pin 13) and GND (pin 7) in CP is connected to GND(Pin 8) in patner side . Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (324)	Hello Satya, the CP reports transmission error. Possible reasons are: - wrong wiring - wrong parameterization - missing terminating resistors - missing Jumper at TMC - TMC not parameterized for RS485 mode Regards, Kaulquappe
