To your questions:
1. I need to have siwarex FTA package for programming siwarex FTA
My answer: Yes and no. On the internet you can find the S7-program for the Simatic Manager or TIA Portal: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/25296061 Therefore you don't need the FTA package.
But I recommend you the FTA package, because on this FTA package there is the Siwatool software. With the Siwatopl software you can connect directly your PC to the FTA module. This software is quite helpful for parametrisation the FTA or to find some problems.
2. Can i migrate siwarex m - siwatool backup to siwarex fta software? or need to do siwarex fta commissioning separately?
My answer: It is not possible to migrate the Siwarex M - Siwatool backup file to Siwarex FTA software. You have to do the Siwarex FTA commissioning separately.
3. In PLC program what kind of modification will be required? can i maintain old blocks used for siwarex m or i need to re-programming all the blocks ?
My answer: You can’t maintain old blocks used for Siwarex M. You have to re-programming all the blocks. You can find a Step7 example project as mentioned under “1.”
You have to take a look to your “old” Step7 program which commands are used for the Siwarex M module, and these commands have to be handled with the Siwarex FTA module.
4. Do i need to do any wiring modification ?
My answer: The wiring on the FTA module is a little bit different as to the Siwarex M module.
Best regards
