Sinamics v20 for FAN application

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a problem in V20 for FAN application.

When one of the three input phases is lost during running, the drive is not giving any alarm or fault. Is there the feature in V20 for line phase loss?

And also when one of the three phases of motor is lost during running, VFD is not showing any alarm(A0922) is displayed but no Fault, the output current is falling to 80% of the running current. Some humming sound is observed in motor when one phase is lost.

Can any one help me out...?

Hi, unfortunately, there does not appear to be a specific phase loss fault.

However, you would expect an Undervoltage fault to be triggered.

I can understand a supply phase loss causing problems, due to an intermittent supply or fuse failure etc.

What is more perplexing is how a motor phase loss occurs. Is this not just down to poor wiring?

You should not be using output contactors (unless in extreme safety cases), any local isolators should only ever be opened off-load. All that remains is bad wiring.
