Hi,

I need to have an S7-1511 rack equipped with a IWLAN Access Point. The best way to go, it seems to me, is the W774-1 with RJ45.

To this AP, a Client Module should connect that has a RF180C module attached.

My problem lies in the choice of the Client Module. The documentation of the W774-1 says that the corresponding Client Module is the W734-1. As stated before, the Client Module is not part of another S7-1500 rack but it is rather a standalone equipment. This is why I was looking at the W748-1 Client Module. My dilema is whether the W748-1 Client Module could connect to the W774-1 Access Point.

Does anybody have any info regarding this?

Hello ziceva,

acording to documentation of W774-1 and W748-1, both devices support same communication standards. I therefore see no reason why it should not work together.

your guidance is such a useful, Presently i am working with IWLAN ACCESS POINT (SCALANCE W774-1 RJ45) and IWLAN CLIENT (SCALANCE W722-1 RJ45) on TIA V13. CPU is S7-1214,

please provide me a SAMPLE PROGRAM about integration and settings of Above hardware, for TIA side Only ASAP.

Note: communication is done b/w Access Point And client point, only TIA side work is Remaining.

dear sir, thank you for the link, but i have that docs already, can you provide me a sample program with any cpu and IWLAN in TIA,

in short i want to know that how to read and write data over this wifi n/w in the PLC programming...

please replay..
