Hello everybody. I spend hours struggling to solve the problem without results, so maybe here is somebody who had simillar situation to mine. Problem is with CPU 410-5H in redundant mode. Here is the problem: After power off and then power on both CPUs, cannot go to RUN mode. Both CPUs have STOP light active and RUN light blinking all the time and cannot go to RUN. It takes more than 15 minutes and nothing... Here is what I tried: - clear both CPUs (by taking out batteries) - download hardware, netpro and cfc to the first CPU, start the first, go to RUN and start second one to synchronize with the first. - after that both CPUs work correctly, redundancy work ok, switching one of them causes the second one takes master function and vice versa. - But when I power off both CPUs and power on both again situation looks the same. Both CPUs have STOP light active and RUN light blinking all the time and cannot go to RUN. Is there anybody who had simillar problem? In attachment there are screenshots from problem I found and diagnostic logs. I found problem could be because of OB82 and OB83. But how to solve this.

Hi hdhosseini, thank you for your response. I took out batteries only in case to reset whole CPU (to make it completely blank). Ater that I put batteries again and re-loaded whole configuration and cfc again. Then I put program to RUN mode. After power off both CPUs situation is the same when I power on. I checked both OB82, and 83 and are in the tasklist. I have another clue, maybe the reason could be because of wrong settings in H Parameters (monitoring times). This configuration uses F modules and therefore "use only calculated values" must be unchecked. My program is in OB35 (100ms) and safety program in OB36 (100ms). I will do this when I go to the plant and have this diagnostic buffer separately for each CPU. Then maybe we will find the solution. |

When you post your Diagnostic Buffer, you will be able to see the Firmware Version of the CPUs. You will want to look at the available Firmware Versions to see if the Firmware update will fix your issue. After power off and then power on, the 410 CPU makes a self-diagnosis, which takes 20 minutes and more.
