Buying decission: WinCC Advanced or WinCC Professional 512 PowerTags

In the link above, you can read these and no differece with WinCC Advanced between Prof.512tag. But Advance is more cheap. And both of isnt runtime. So what is the difference ?

If someone doing runtime projects always, he must buy WinCC Runtime prof v13 for every project, right ?

 

 yes for each pc which is used as HMI device.

Hello,

now you talk about the Engineering SW.
With WinCC V13 Professional you can create and configure the same device like with WinCC V13 Advanched and additional the WinCC RT devices (PC/IPC with WinCC RT Professional installation).

With WinCC V13 Advanched you can't configure the RT PRofessional.

So if you don't use RT Professional then the WinCC V13 Advanced is the right for you.

Ok i understood finally :) Thanl you for your good explonation. There is no different prof and adv. Because i wont do runtime applications. I will buy advanced version. 

And the last 2 questions :)

 "512 PowerTags" :  is this about runtime's tag ?

you can also create a Runtime Project with WinCC V13 Advanced, that is no problem.

Runtime means that the HMI is not running on a Panel  , it is running on a normal PC on which is installed the RUNTIME SW Package (Advanced or Professional).

So if you only use Panels for HMI then you need no Runtime , and if you need Runtime then you need a Runtime licence too.

But this have noting to do with the licencing of the ENGINEERING SW PACKAGES !

For the Engineering SW Packages WinCC Advanched or WinCC Professional you need licences for the Engineering!

And of you need no Runtime, no RT Advanced and no RT Prefessional you can buy the WinCC V13 Comfort Licence for the Engineering, then you can configure and eingineer all Panels types, but no PC/IPC Based HMI (This is the RUNTIME).

Because in future -low possibility but- it can need to create a runtime project.. 

In WinCC Prof. or Advaced there is no licence limit for tags right? it is about panel's capacity i think..

Do you have an info or prediction about release date of V14 of these SW ? I couldn't find an info..

 Why then the Advanced, in this case you can buy the Comfort insteed of advanced, should be more cheap then the advanced

1.)
Yes the powertags mean the HMI Objects which configured, if you have mor powertags then licenced then you geht a message that the licence is not enough on the runtime after you start the configuration.

2.)
yes this should be possible if you only use devices which supported in both Éditions (Panels).
