Hi Phanton75. I have similar problem with PCS7 v6.0 SP1 multiproject. I do know why suddenly all WinCC application under Step7 tree (PC Station) disappeared from project. Project includes few AS Station (S7-400) and few PC Station (WinCC application). When I click on PC station I get message attached. I also check SQL status under Programs>MS SQLserver>ServiceManager. SQL service is stopped and I can not put it to run. When I manually press <Start> when service is going to starting then back to stopped. Additional: I check ErrorLog of SQL (under MSSQL$WINCC). I get Error:9003, Severity: 20, State: 1 Cannot recover the master database. Exiting What you suggest? Thanks you for your effort. Regard,

Hi Petrov, I also had such a problem where all OS stations disappeared. The reason was because of a program called: "VersionDoc" which creates a backup of the PCS7 project every day. It will create a new database under SQL Management Studio. The problem however was that this "temp" database was not removed afterwards, but went into "Suspect" mode. Apparantly, when there is a problem with a database in SQL, the Simatic Manager will go into some sort of safe mode, where it will let OS stations disappear. After deleting the "Suspect" database (indicated when a database has a grey color instead of yellowish), and after restart of Simatic Manager, the OS stations were back again!. Maybe you are using third party software, which writes/reads in SQL? Maybe you can check out the databases in SQL or provide me(us) a screenshot of the SQL databases. |
