 I think supportable panel have inbuilt available it. Externally installation not possible.

But you can already able to open Word , Excel or pdf files on comfort panels.

I want to log the values of the various real variables to excel sheet but as it is only possible if and only if i have excel application in it but as  we know there is only excel viewer installed to comfort panel

You can log the tags in csv format.

If you want to read or evaluate the logged data without WinCC Runtime Advanced, then you should use the "CSV file (ASCII)" storage location.

Quotation marks or multiple characters are not permitted as separators in the "File - CSV (ASCII)" storage location. The setting for separators is to be found under "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options".

Thanks Ayman for the answer but what if I have to create user defined reporting in Excel by using comfort panel.

The whole question is for editing the excel file that is to open the excel file at regular interval and add the time stamp along with the certain tags values in it

It is not possible. Remember Comfort Panel is not a PC. You can take the CSV log file from the Comfort Panel and open it on Excel on a PC. And you can edit it as you like.
