Hello all, I have a question about MotL behavior. When motor is running, I put "Stop" command in manual mode (StopMan), and when motor doesn't stop in fact - I get MonDynErr=1, faceplate displays "Control error", it's Ok. But when motor is stopped, I put "Start" command in manual mode (StartMan), and when motor doesn't start in fact - I have MonDynErr=1 and display "Control error" in faceplate for about 1 second, then block puts "Stop" command (why?) and MonDynErr resets to 0, display "Control error" in faceplate disappears. How to explain such behavior? I can't find anything like that in manual. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

When the motor is stopped, the fbkrun= 0. now if you give the start command and motor does not start(e.g. fbkrun remain 0) within the monitoring time, you get MonDynErr = 1 i.e. Control error. I think in case of monitoring error, motor will move to safe state which is STOP by default. so when control error is generated, STOP command will be given automatically. now because stop command is given and feedback is proper i.e. fbkrun=0, block moves to stop. the error is cleared. Also there is feature bit 31. if it is 0, the error will be reset automatically. but if it is 1 then RESET button will appear in faceplate and you need to press this button to clear the error.
