Hi Mike, We have siprotec devices connected to ruggeddcom switches in tree form and the switches form a ring. The problem we face is that the AK 1703 client connection with siprotec does not resume when the siprotec is turned OFF for some time. The TCP connection in Web explorer shows as Not Ok. After resetting the CP2017 card, the commmunication resumes. During this, the ping to siprotec is healthy and even the IEC browser data is updated. First step is to check if your firmware is up to date. Since 2017 is an old card, there might be some updates which could solve this problem.
