First off thanks for your swift reply and suggestions. I guess I did not elaborate my problem well. I know that global VBs cannot be used inside faceplates and I am also using UDT that contains all my motor info and am using them in my motor global DB. My problem is that I have excess of over 250 motors and each motor will have a faceplate that contains 3 buttons and each button will have 2 events each that will set/reset tags (start,stop...) in my UDT. If I could connect events to my buttons that will set/reset tags in UDT inside faceplate my work would be greatly reduced as I will just interface the faceplate with my motor number when I bring it to the screen but alas it seems impossible. So I have to connect tags to buttons of each motor individually in the event tab when I call my faceplate to the screen. That is really time consuming. As I had said I found out that it is possible to set/reset UDT tags in the events tab inside faceplate editor in Wincc Advanced (see in attachment). If only there was a way to do the same in Wincc Pro... Hope I have explained my problem well this time. Best Regards Salman
