Hello  i have a S7-200 224-Cpu and i have only a profibus cable.

Can i connect my pc with plc with profibus(male/male) cable with  a male/female adaptor?Or i have to buy a ppi cable?

what interface you have on PC side? This info I'm missing, is importnat because you can't simply connect this cable to RS-232 port on PC (if exists). Expect your menaning of PB cable is physical cable not some adapter/converter. Pls, tell us also important thing, what you really want to do with PC side, you want download/upload project or you have some visualisation on PC? Simply we don't know this...

What do u mean with visualisation? I just want to download/upload projects from step7/microwin.
