Hi, Because you have used just an input address, which does not exist in hardware configuration or youhave used a module which is not released for your PCS7 version, then generating automatic inputs like Mode is not possible. You have to set the mode manually in this case, which is normally done by PCS7 according to your type of input. In this case it is a bool, so set the Mode to 16#8000FFFF. You can find in the helpfile a list of possible modes. For a 4-20mA signal, the mode is 16#80000203. |

Hi, Thank you for the feedback (and rating). If you open hardware configuration, you can add a for example a ET200M module, with a few digital in/outputs and some analog in/outputs. Make sure that the PCS7_V82 Catalog is selected in the top right corner because then all released modules for your PCS7 version can be selected. When compiling your AS program (CFC charts), you can select/deselect the option to generate module drivers. You can deselect this option, but next time during compile, the setting is enabled again. What happens now when choosing to generate module drivers, is that a few interconnections are created automatically between your hardware configuration and CFC program by means of the PCS7 driver blocks. You can receive additional diagnostic information from the hardware I/O through the driver blocks. I made some screenshots for you to show how to do this. Good luck!
