hi , 

i cant seem to connect to my s7-300 , 6fc5 317-2fk14-0ab0, firmware 3.2.10 cpu - 317f-3 pn/dp

i have just pinged all , the control module ( which im in right now) and the 2 plcs, ) 

i have tried connecting ethernet into the spare port on the plc (bottom one) and tried into the control module trying anything really. 

i can see them all in the accessable nodes, i can ping them, ive setup my ip on computer as 

xxx.xxx.214.50 - computer

subnet 255.255.255.0 

gateway - xxx.xxx.214.1 ( tried all of them)

xxx.xxx.214.1 - control module

xxx.xxx.214.4 - top plc

xxx.xxx.214.5 - bottom plc

im just out of ideas. the plcs dont have serial connection , only ethernet ( which has 2 each 1 has profinet jumpering them to each other.)

Please explain it briefly

1.No of PLC's do you have in your network?

2.To which one of them you want to communicate?

3.Your way of communication means you want to communicate it directly to the PLC or you are using a router?

4.What is your PG/PC settings?
