I am trying to send email using s7-1200 but it is not working . I want to know the required settings for this or send me the sample program if possible

Split from send e-mails using the S7-1200 TCON, TSEND and TRCV instructions.

Dear ,

To send E-mail via S7 1200 you dont need TCON/TSEND/TRCV/TDISCON blocks. You need to use T_Mail instruction under communication instruction set.

Hardware/Software List:

1) S7 1200 PLC

2) Any make router( E.g TP link-Tested).

3) Modem to get internet connectivity for router( TATA Photon- Check modem associated with Router)

4) LAN Cable

5) TIA Step7 basic software

6) SMTP mail Server IP address.

• The TM_MAIL does not support encrypted e-mail transfer over SSL or TLS as required by googlemail.com, for example. This means that you cannot use Google Mail.
• In the CPU you must activate the router and set the correct IP address of the router. Otherwise the CPU cannot reach the public IP address of the e-mail server.
• TM_MAIL can only communicate with an e-mail server using SMTP through Port 25. The assigned port number cannot be changed.

TM_MAIL does not function with external e-mail servers in company networks which only permit internet access by proxy and usually block all the other ports including Port 25. It must be possible to communicate externally over the TCP Port 25.
You can establish a connection through SMTP with an internal e-mail server and let the internal server manage the current security extensions required to forward e-mails over the internet to an external e-mail server. 

I have used GMX mail server for testing purpose. It is working fine.
