HMI Simulation (TP1200 Comfort) has no connection to real PLC

Hello there! I want to test my HMI project (made in TIA Portal V14 SP1 Upd 2) using simulation. PLC program made in SIMATIC STEP7 V5.5. HMI is TP 1200 Comfort v14.0.1.0 In HMI communictation there is communication with SIMATIC S7 300/400 communictation driver. I've set up the ETHERNET interface and the IP of S7 300 PLC (Subnets of PLC and my PC are identical) In Options -> Settings -> Online & diagnostics I've set up PC network card as PG/PC interface. TIA Portal successfully sees PLC through Online access in project tree. But when I try to simulate my HMI project it gets no data. Where I get wrong? Or should I do something in addition to get successful connection for HMI simulation? Yeah, I've seen some same topics, but they are not actuel beacuse they use different TIA Portal version, differenct PLC and something else. Thanks in advance. |

Hi, for the HMI Simulation you must configure the S7Online correct. In Windows Control Panel open "PG/PC Settings" select Accespoint S7ONLINE and then select the Networkinterface which is connected to the PLC. The settings in TIA are only for TIA to go Online , they are not used for HMI Simulation!
