How to perform an alarm reset

Dear Sir, 

I have a system with PLC Simatic S7 -400  CPU 412-5H PN/DP . I just change the bateires for the slave PLC andi get some fault .EXTF light red and REDF light red . I want to ask how to perform a reset for this alarm . I have no any posibilyty to use a  laptop . Thanks

Hi,

The diagnostic buffer will tell you exactly what is causing the LED lit up. If you upload it, we can have look at it.

Anyways potentionally the battery issue caused the EXTF LED to lit up. You will see the relevant diag buffer entries relate to OB81 (Power Supply Error OB).
