As far as I know, optimized block access has always been a prerequisite for the ability to retain individual variables in a DB in S7-1x00. If You're using non-optimized blocks then retain is a block-wide option. I double checked and found this Suppot FAQ: 67655611, which seems to confirm the above. |

Either set the DB to Optimized Acces, or create a new DB with Standard Access that only contains all the tags that you want retentivity on? |
