With Crosslink you are able to connect two instances of PLCSIM Advanced. One instance for Automation PLC Simulation and another instance for simulation of the machine behavior. This example can help you testing your PLC-Automation Program, and can satisfy rudimental simulation purposes. Yet, please consider periodically updating Crosslink to maintain previous functionality with TIA, PLCSim Adv and MS Win updates. Crosslink is very useful and valuable piece of software for those who cannot afford to pay $T for more accurate, yet extremely expensive modelling soft. Thanks,

Anyway, if one day it stops working with new versions, you may attempt to decompile it (as it is a c# application and probably not obfuscated).
