Hello, when the ITB is used witha negative number, all of the bits 12-15 are set to 1, but when the BTI instruction is used it looks just at the bit 15 and ignores bits 12-14. gumis: look at the attached file, inside isthe AWL source of function which makes your conversion. But take in consideration that the range is just -79 to 79 and if you assign bad BCD syntax the PLC can go to stop mode, the OB121 should be downloaded to prevent this. (The source is to be imported to Step7 folder "Sources" - rightclick and choose "Insert New Object -> External source..." then compiled -open the source, change the FC number in the first rowand choose menu "File -> Compile".
