Hello, It seems, you have 2 problems. 1. Wrong motor protection, because your motor burned. Blocked motor or too much load, because to high current could be the reason for your issue. |

do u know the position of actuator when starting this large fan? i mean it must be close or open? and what about after starting? |

Hello, your accrual protection doesn't protect the motor. You have no star/delta or soft starter or inverter to reduce the inrush current. You should think about such a solution, to implement a functioning motor protection. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/21384967 It seems, the deviation between the inrush current and rated current is so big, that thermal overload relay with rated current would trigger during run up. Your only device to reduce the current is the dumper. So when during run up the damper is not closed, it has no effect. So you can check this, too. |
