Blowing *.hex files into S5 EPROM

EPROM : 6ES5 375-1LA41 Program files: LEIT41ST.S5D,FOU109ST.S5D,SPMAIN26.HEX Blowing the .s5d program files into the EPROMwas fine and OK , by using the Simatic Step 5 program. However, I could not select the .HEX files in the set project, in order to be used for the EPROM handling. How could I blow the SPMAIN26.HEX into the EPROM? Is there any other program to be used for blowing the *.HEX files into the EPROM.?? Looking for some feedbacks.. Thanks..

SINEC911 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear Behnam R, I needto blow the file SPMAIN26.hex to the s5 EPROM which belongs to the CP521 Communication module.I did some reference from the manual and found the COM 521 Basic V1.2 software can be used to blow the .hex files to the EPROM. Is there any other program i can use to program the .hex files. This is due to some modifications on the system, and the new program need to be blown into the new EPROM. EPROM for CP521 can be programmed through COM 521 which can be used with Step5 V6.x The type of file you can load through COM521 is called Basic (*.bas).
