SOLVED> Can the PLC change to a specific screen of a BASIC panel

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1197)	Hi to all, - TIA BASIC V11.0 including WinCC V11.0 - KTP600 MONO - S7-1200, CPU1212 Is it possible to have the PLC tell the (BASIC) panel to change to a specific screen? I want to force the panel to a "wizard" page when the PLC change from STOP to RUN mode. This event should take place even if the power was not switched off and on again. I wish to force the user to do a recalibration of the machine but wish to prevent the user from doing calibration anytime he feels like it (unless the user switches off the power). PS: I know that by changing the default panel tag "Tag_ScreenNumber" to a number, also changes the panel's screen. However linking the PLC to that tag does not seem to work properly (maybe I did something wrong?) In advance.. my thanks. - William

On HMI, you can read this value (read continous mode), and triger a event by change value (change screen by number, etc.).

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1197)	Pegaia you can change a value of a variable by CPU start up. On HMI, you can read this value (read continous mode), and triger a event by change value (change screen by number, etc.). Thank you! You have been of great help. It took me a while to figure out what you actually told me. In detail the following: Under the HMI tags you create a tag. This tag is linked to your PLC. Now you have to edit the properties of the tag you created. Under the tag properties is an EVENT page. From the "Value change" event I can now trigger the page I wish to open. Brilliant! Now for the difficult part.. designing the panel layout.. [see me leaving the stage]

saimanshetty Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	How do I have it trigger only when it is a false to true on a boolean tag, and not when it is true to false? "Value change" makes it trigger at any change, not just a positive edge.
