Hello Guillaume; When using a split rack (known as a UR2-H rack), each CPU can use one side of the rack only, as can be seen in the attached picture (taken from the Fault-tolerant systems S7-400H manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/82478488 ). You cannot setup both CPUs on the same rack, the 6ES7400-2AJ00-0AA0 is seen as 2 separate, distinct racks in HWConfig: a Rack 0 plus a Rack one, each rack holding a power supply, one CPU and other redundant modules (Ethernet cards, for example). The easiest way for you to see how the configuration is done is to open the HProject sample project in you program libraries (in Step 7 Simatic Manager) and examine the HWConfig editor. You should have a better understanding of the situation, specially if you read the Commissioning of the S7-400H section of the above-mentioned manual at the same time. Hello Guillaume; I may have been incomplete in my configuration hints earlier, I hope I can clarify things. When configuring a S7-400H system based on a UR2-H rack, configure only the rack 0 system (PS, CPU, synch modules, network cards...). Then copy the existing rack 0 and duplicate it, the HWConfig editor will reproduce the existing elements in a rack 1. See the attached screensghot.
