Pieter De Vos Posts: 36 Rating: (2)	Hello, For more clarification, I am talking about the HMI synchronisation with the CPU What is the difference between the Global Area Pointer for Date/Time and the Job Mailbox for Date/Time The easiest way to change the Date/Time is with the global area pointer. With the Job Mailbox instruction u have to use Array's, and have to tell which command it has to execute, etc.. Command: 14 = Time, 15 = Date. But what is the difference in communication between the Job Mailbox and the Global Area Pointer ? With the Global Area Pointer, the HMI reads the data from a DB place (Read system time). Also for which applications can u use the Mailbox best ? Thank you for the help !
