Hello, Just to add some point while checking Diagnostic buffer. The sample I have working with would be like: [code] CALL "SCALE" IN :=PIW256 HI_LIM :=1.000000e+002 LO_LIM :=0.000000e+000 BIPOLAR:=FALSE RET_VAL:=MW100 OUT :=MD104[/code] Some possibilities are listed here: 1-If you select an Peripheral I/O address out of configured area, the CPU will go to stop if OB122(I/O access error OB) is not included in your CPU .Simply ensure that selected address is valid in HW.Config.For that right click on the I/O module and select "Monitor-Modify" to see what are the suggested addresses by STEP7 (pic#1 in attachment).Logs in buffer would be like this:
2- If you do not download FCs in the CPU.It is not rare in practice.The following would be the possible logs in Buffer:
3-And my final suggestion ,Please read the following manual especially chapter 6 for analog modules.Select your module and check the correct wiring.As an example see section 6.7.3 in which explains how an unused channel may lit SF LED.
