drive_guy Advanced Member Joined: 10/6/2011 Last visit: 9/3/2018 Posts: 42 Rating: (2)	check the operating instructions chapter 6.4.18.6 dynamic braking http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24291961 3rd party brake resistors can be used if they match the specification of the Siemens resistor. Support maybe limited though as only Siemens resistors are tested and supported.
