Hi Ahmed, Copy the Arabic text inthislink and then after reversing paste it back in WinCC Flexible. Let us know if it works. |

This solves half of the problem. The charecters are in right order now, but in Arabic language, letters of the same word must be connected. I don't know how to explain, but a letter in Arabic can have two shapes: single and connected.

Hi Ayman, From first post of Ahmed it is clear that problem starts after what you have mentioned in run time. |

Hope this helps. It works at Flex runtime & PC IL 77 12" but not at HMI MP277 10'' so I think that if there is Win XP it works and if there is Win CE it doesn't work Attachmentlanguage support.zip (331 Downloads) |

Hello again, Before going out to my office to try it, please read the following paragraph extracted from this FAQ: I think you have to change font type from Tahoma for Arabic Language.
Hope this helps.

You have to use "Character Map" to enter your text reversed at " Unicode characters " . or simply use the attached C# program to convert from arabic ANSI code to reversed arabic Unicode . Now the problem was solved IF you want to understand the how check this : Arabic Support for Windows CE |

I wish siemens will support Arabic language in their next editions. |

The complete solution steps are : * First your windows should support right-to-left language 01-Install right2left files 02-Add Arabic keyboard * The main idea is writing your text at unicode format so we will use windows character map 03-Writing arabic at WinCC Flex using character map * In usual programs their is massive amount of text so using character map may be annoying so i wrote a simple program using C# that converts the text to unicode format and reverse it. But first you have to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 04-Installing net framework 4.0 05-writing arabic at WinCC Flex using ArabicUnicode.sln I have attached the code (C# VS 2010) if some body have time he may upgrade the code to convert the text at the " exported text Exel table " .
